Our Herb Garden

Around about November last year, we decided to start our little herb garden. The first time we attempted to do this wasn’t very successful i.e. growing herbs in little window pots. This time, we opted to grow them in larger pots on the balcony so that they were free to grow a little bigger.

Well, I’m very pleased to say that with a bit of Wa’s TLC and the sunny days, the plants have been growing great the past couple of months! In fact, I think they are growing faster than we can use them.

We’ve been really enjoying being able to cut fresh herbs from our little garden to use in our cooking - from roasts, to salads, dressings, marinades, muffins, the list goes on!

Can’t wait to use our chilli’s and for our tomatoes to start growing. We’ve also got lime, lemon and strawberry plants which have only just started flowering…we’ll wait patiently
