About Us

‘Mini cakes’ is a Sydney home based business run by Karen and supported by her loving husband. The name ‘mioko’, although sounding of Japanese origin, is actually a combination of Karen’s husband’s and her surname!

We provide a catering service of freshly baked ‘mini cakes’ made by request for individuals, cafes and for various sized events (parties, weddings, seminars etc). We also offer ‘mini cakes’ gift packs, boxed beautifully with a hand crafted gift card - a perfect gift for that someone special!

Karen also works in the IT industry, loves all things sweet and tends to have a creative and musical flair. She likes to keep fit and maintain a healthy balance to her life.

After experimenting with different recipes and taste testing hundreds of cupcakes, the first mini cakes product is out on the market being trialled at a couple of retail food outlets! What an amazing opportunity!
